Who we are
The Digital Property Shop ("we", "us") sells finished websites as one-off purchases. For any privacy question or request, email hello@thedigitalpropertyshop.com.
What we collect
- Account details — if you sign in, we store your email address and (optionally) your display name so you can access your orders.
- Order details — when you buy a site we store your name, email, business name, business type and any notes you send us, plus the listing you bought and Stripe payment identifiers.
- Contact messages — anything you send via the contact form or by email.
- Analytics — if you accept, we load Statcounter, which records pages you view, approximate location, device and referrer. See "Cookies" below.
How we use it
- To fulfil your order and provide the website you bought.
- To reply to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
- To understand which listings people engage with, so we can improve the shop.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Legal basis (UK/EU GDPR)
- Contract — processing your order and delivering your site.
- Legitimate interests — replying to enquiries, keeping the site secure.
- Consent — analytics cookies (Statcounter) load only if you click "Accept all".
- Legal obligation — retaining invoices and tax records.
Cookies
We keep cookies to the minimum. The banner you saw on your first visit lets you accept or decline analytics. Strictly necessary items (your sign-in session, your cookie choice itself) are always on because the site cannot function without them.

Who processes your data
- Supabase — account, orders and website hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Statcounter — analytics, only if you accept.
These providers act on our instructions and are contractually bound to protect your data. Some may process data outside the UK/EEA under standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as required by tax law (typically 6 years in the UK). Account data is kept while your account is active; ask us to delete it any time. Analytics is retained per Statcounter's default retention window.
Your rights
Under UK/EU GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or export of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email hello@thedigitalpropertyshop.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we update this notice we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be flagged on the home page.
